Overview

Cartlea is designed to be private by default. The current version is designed to work without an account, advertising, analytics, or cloud sync. Shopping list data is stored locally on your device.

Information you create in Cartlea

Cartlea lets you create grocery lists and related list information, such as item names, quantities, notes, categories, checked status, and list settings. In the current version, this information is stored locally on your device.

No account required

The current version of Cartlea does not require you to create an account to use the app.

No advertising or analytics

The current version of Cartlea does not include advertising and does not use analytics services to track how you use the app.

Optional sync may be added later

Veritware may add optional sync features to Cartlea in a future version. If introduced, sync will be user-controlled and may allow selected list data to be shared across devices or with people you choose, such as family members or partners. This Privacy Policy will be updated before or when optional sync becomes available.

App stores and purchases

If Cartlea is downloaded or purchased through an app store, the relevant app store provider may process information connected with your download, purchase, device, account, or transaction. That processing is handled by the app store provider under its own terms and privacy policy.

Support emails

If you contact Veritware for support, Veritware may receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any information you choose to include. This information is used to respond to your request and provide support.

Website hosting

The Cartlea pages are part of the Veritware website. Website hosting providers may process basic technical information, such as server logs, security events, IP addresses, browser information, and request times, to operate and protect the website.
